Mark Graduated from Victoria University in 2022 after completing his Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and his Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). He was born in England but moved to Australia with his family as a young boy and now lives in Frankston where he hopes to settle and start a family.
Mark is an Osteopath, which is a little different to a physiotherapist, but with a lot of the same learning background. According to the Osteopathy Australia website - "Using a combination of traditional and modern healthcare philosophies, osteopaths generally use non-invasive forms of therapy like muscle soft-tissue work, joint mobilisation or manipulation, stretching and exercises, combined with education and advice to support the body’s natural healing processes."
Growing up Mark was an avid rugby union player, having represented Victoria on many occasions through his playing years. After one too many broken noses, he decided to put his playing days behind him and focus on his work as a clinician! This background means he has a keen interest in athletes, and helping them recover and perform to the best of their ability.
Since Graduating, Mark has worked in the Aged Care space, working in both care facilities and visiting people in the community to help manage all manner of conditions and ailments.
When Mark isn't working you most likely will find him at home reading or keeping up with a plethora of TV shows, or on most weekend he will be off hiking or camping all over Victoria.
