Jamie Barnes

Head of Exercise Physiology

Jamie is one of our senior exercise physiologists, having joined TSIC in 2014, and has been serving as Head of Exercise Physiology since 2022.

Since attaining a postgraduate degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2012 and a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2011, Jamie has developed a comprehensive skill set, gaining experience in a range of clinical settings, including acute hospital rehabilitation, community health, and strength and conditioning and rehabilitation coaching for a number of sporting organisations.

Outside of the clinic, Jamie is a husband and father of two, a runner, an Essendon supporter and Philadelphia Eagles fan, and enjoys spending his time outdoors, reading or listening to a good podcast or audiobook.
