James graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2016 with a Bachelor in Exercise & Sport Science, before going on to complete his Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Deakin University, graduating in 2019.
James has experience working in private practice, where he specialized in the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease & neurological conditions. Outside of the clinic, James trains & competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with close to 4 years of experience. He grew up playing football, winning 2 premierships over the course of 12 seasons with the Narre North & Berwick football club. James’ other interests include running, strength training, snowboarding, mixed martial arts & watching Richmond win flags.
