Rick Whitehead

Rick comes from a strong middle distance running background, having represented Australia at the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympic Games in addition to achieving
multiple medals at the national level. He has experienced his fair share of injuries over the years and is able to see things from the perspective of the athlete, helping to keep them on the field of competition!

He is still an active member of Athletics Waverley and is currently in training for the upcoming cross-country season.

His physiotherapy interests lie in lower limb injuries of all kinds as well as lower back pain.

Outside of the clinic, Rick has experience working with the Caulfield Grammar School Cross-Country and Athletics squads in addition to the Old Haileybury Amateur Football Club. He has also spent time exercise testing with the Australian Institute of Sport.

Rick is a keen follower of all sports – in particular AFL, the English Premier League and the NBA. In his spare time he can be found running, playing indoor soccer or slicing golf balls into trees and water hazards.
