Emma Doderico

Exercise Physiologist

Emma graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2012. Following that, she went on to complete her Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology, graduating in 2015.

Growing up, all Emma wanted to do was play sport and run around the family's farm down in Gippsland. Athletics and netball were always top of the list of favourite sports. Most recently, surfing has been added to the list - with a bit more practice needed! Emma has received specialty coaching from academy coaches as a youngster through her athletics, with favourite events being 400m, high jump, shot put and javelin.

Seeing her grandmother tackle Parkinson's Disease for many years sparked an interest in not only neurological conditions, but working with the ageing population in general - helping people to stay as independent as possible for as long as possible. Emma has experience in cardiac rehab, orthopaedic (hips and knees) rehab and most recently has worked predominantly with ex-service men and women through the Department of Veteran's Affairs Program. Emma has also worked in a school environment, teaching sport classes, as well as coaching netball and javelin, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
